Creamy Risotto Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth (kept warm)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup dry white wine

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 cup mushrooms, asparagus, or peas for additional flavor
Instructions:
- Sauté Onions:
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Toast the Rice:

- Finish with Cheese and Butter:
- Once the rice is creamy and al dente, remove it from heat. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.
